What began with a new glass-button style has grown into a broader refresh of the DevWave website. We've refined the places you use to discover apps, read updates, find documentation, and get support, bringing them together with a more consistent look and clearer ways to move around.
The goal is simple: make the site feel more polished without getting in the way of what you came to do.
Glass controls with clearer labels
Clear and blue glass buttons now bring a shared visual style to key actions across the site, from exploring the WaveStore to downloading an app, viewing a bundle, or contacting support. Subtle highlights and depth give the controls a more distinctive finish, while bold, readable labels keep the action easy to recognize.
We've also refined the smaller details: compact carousel arrows, clearer Back controls, and matching glass accents in menus and search. News categories and app status labels carry the same finish without competing with the content around them.
App pages that put information first
App descriptions now sit near the top of each detail page and are open when you arrive, so you can understand what an app offers before exploring the rest of the page. You can collapse a description when you want more room to browse, independently of App Information and Accessibility & Requirements.
App icons and preview screenshots have subtle outlines that give each image a clearer edge. The You Might Also Like section has a lighter, cleaner presentation, with transparent recommendation cards and matching outlined icons. Screenshot viewers keep their familiar navigation, now with refined glass controls.
A cleaner WaveStore
The WaveStore brings the updated buttons and status labels into featured apps, current updates, and app listings. More compact controls fit naturally beside the artwork and descriptions, while subtle outlines on app-list icons help each app stand out without adding visual clutter.
News that's easier to scan
Featured stories and article lists now use more consistent title and summary lengths, making it easier to compare stories at a glance. Recent Articles and All Articles keep their summaries visible on phones as well as larger screens, and slightly darker dates make the publication details easier to read.
Clear-glass category labels and updated reading controls complete the look. The full story is still just a tap away, with the complete article available when you're ready to read more.
Docs and support, with fewer detours
Documentation pages and support forms now share the site's glass-control styling. Release notes provide a clear way back to the app's release history, while software policies opened from the main Docs page return you to Docs rather than sending you to an app page.
These small navigation improvements help you stay oriented as you move between an app, its updates, and the information you need. Support remains within reach from release notes, with a consistent Get Support action.
A more considered home page
The home page brings the refreshed controls into its app and service cards. A stronger opening tagline gives the introduction more emphasis, and the Saphire Studio card now pairs its animated app artwork with a soft white-to-blue gradient. The existing content and familiar destinations remain in place, with a more cohesive presentation around them.
Smoother browsing, without losing your place
Quick, subtle page fades make moving through the site feel less abrupt. When you return to a listing with Back, your previous scroll position is restored, so you can continue browsing where you left off. Page transitions also respect reduced-motion preferences.
Together, these refinements make DevWave more consistent across desktop and mobile, with clearer controls, better-organized information, and fewer interruptions along the way.
Take a look around the home page, explore the WaveStore, or visit Docs to see the updated experience.
