    DevWave Solutions Inc. ("DevWave," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Saphire Pro, our website, and related services.

    1. Information We Collect

    We collect information in the following ways:

    A. Information You Create and Store in the App

    Saphire Pro is designed to be primarily local-first. Depending on the features you use, the app may store the following information on your device:

    • Reminders, reminder lists, due dates, recurrence settings, notes, and reminder links
    • Notes and note folders
    • Journals and journal entries
    • Calendar sources and calendar events you create in the app
    • Imported files and file metadata needed to reopen or manage those files in the app
    • Saved places for maps-related features
    • Clipboard entries captured while the app is active
    • Health and habit tracking entries you choose to create
    • Profile information you enter, such as display name, subtitle, avatar selection, and optional profile photo
    • App preferences such as theme, wallpaper, mini app settings, notification settings, onboarding state, and search preferences

    B. Information Collected Through Device Permissions

    If you choose to grant permission, Saphire Pro may access certain device features:

    • Location: Used for maps, nearby places, and local weather
    • Notifications: Used for reminders, journal prompts, calendar alerts, focus timer alerts, and daily summary notifications
    • Alarm access: Used by the Clock mini app for alarms and timers you create
    • Photos: Used when you choose images for reminder attachments or profile photos
    • Clipboard: Clipboard text may be read while Saphire is open and active so the Clipboard feature can save copied text inside the app

    You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone settings.

    2. How We Use Information

    We use information to:

    • Operate app features you choose to use
    • Save your content and preferences
    • Show local weather and map results
    • Schedule reminders, alarms, and notifications
    • Let you import, preview, organize, export, and delete your content
    • Improve product support and respond to feedback you voluntarily send us

    3. Local Storage and On-Device Processing

    Based on the current version of Saphire Pro, most user content is stored locally on your device rather than on DevWave servers.

    This includes core app content such as reminders, notes, journals, calendar data created inside the app, saved places, imported files, clipboard entries, health logs, and many app preferences.

    4. When Information May Leave Your Device

    Certain features may send limited information outside your device when you choose to use them:

    • Weather: Weather data requests are handled through Apple's WeatherKit services
    • Maps and place search: Map and place-related requests are handled through Apple's MapKit and related Apple services
    • Email or feedback: If you choose to send feedback or contact us, your message and any attachments may be sent through Apple Mail or another email app or website you choose
    • External links: If you open a website or link from within the app, that destination operates under its own privacy practices

    We do not use these features to sell your data.

    5. Data Sharing

    We do not sell your personal information.

    We do not share your reminders, notes, journals, files, or other in-app content with advertisers.

    We may rely on Apple-provided services that process limited information as needed to provide functionality you request, such as:

    • WeatherKit
    • MapKit
    • Photos
    • Notifications
    • Mail or web browser handoff

    Those services are governed by Apple's terms and privacy practices.

    6. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

    Based on the current app codebase, Saphire Pro does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs for profiling users across apps or websites.

    We do not state that we use cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.

    If this changes in a future release, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those practices begin.

    7. Data Retention

    Because Saphire Pro primarily stores content locally on your device, your data generally remains there until you edit or delete it.

    Some information may be automatically removed based on feature settings. For example, clipboard entries may be deleted automatically after a set period if that option is enabled.

    If you export data from the app, the exported file will remain wherever you save it until you delete it.

    If you send us an email or support request, we may retain that correspondence as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot, and keep support records.

    8. Your Choices and Controls

    You can control your information by:

    • Deleting reminders, notes, journals, files, saved places, clipboard items, and other content within the app
    • Turning permissions on or off in iOS Settings
    • Choosing whether to use optional features such as weather, maps, photo attachments, clipboard capture, notifications, and alarms
    • Exporting certain app data where export functionality is available
    • Removing imported files or profile photos from the app

    9. Children's Privacy

    Saphire Pro and our website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website or hosted services.

    If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the email below and we will review the request.

    10. Data Security

    We take reasonable steps to protect information under our control. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Because much of Saphire Pro content is stored locally on your device, the security of that content also depends on your device security, operating system protections, backups, and account settings.

    11. International Users

    If you access our website or contact us from outside your home jurisdiction, your information may be processed in the countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

    12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective Date above.
